What a long, strange trip it’s been...
— the Grateful Dead

Music is, among many things, a vehicle. In the case of Nashville-based guitarist Patrick Stevens, this vehicle started as an interest and hobby, turned into a love and obsession, became a lifestyle and has taken him on journeys that he never expected to go on. Born and raised just outside of Atlanta, GA, he fell in love with music ranging from Led Zeppelin to Merle Haggard, Guns N’ Roses to Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix to Tony Rice, The Rolling Stones to Wes Montgomery, The Beatles to Marvin Gaye, Ozzy Osbourne to Jamiroquai…you get the picture. All of these combustible ingredients have created the sonic engine that drives him each day. Since graduating from Atlanta Institute Of Music (AIM) in 2010, he has gone on to perform live as a sideman for a pretty impressive list of artists, including:

-Brantley Gilbert

-Will Hoge

-Delta Rae

-Hayley Orrantia (ABC’s “The Goldbergs”)

-Katie Toupin (Houndmouth)

-Kylie Frey (CMT’s “Real Country”)

-Brennley Brown (NBC’s “The Voice”)

-Tucker Beathard

-Eric Dodd

-Sarah Allison Turner

-Madeline McDonald

-Jessta James

-Macy Todd

-Cotter Hill

-Daniel Lee

In addition to his portfolio of live performances, Patrick has also been called on to record with:

-T-Pain

-Billy Hume (Grammy-winning producer, Infamous Stringdusters, Ying Yang Twins, Bonecrusher)

-Dan Hannon (Dove Award-nominated producer, Aaron Shust, Manchester Orchestra)

-Will Hoge (Grammy-nominated artist)

-Terrell Sass (Grammy-nominated producer, Jennifer Holliday)

-Macy Todd

-Alvin Garrett

-Von Grey

-Beau + Luci

-Phillip James

-Michael Stiles

-Shotgun Symphony

-Sam Koon

Patrick currently lives with his wife, Diane, and daughter, Brooklyn, in Nashville, TN where he continues to tour, record and teach. What a long, strange (and good) trip it’s been, indeed.
